 Burma

1. They go out into the streets in Burma
The toll from the clash which began on Wednesday was nine dead, oh no
They believe in freedom, peace and in their dignity
While a regime cares nothing for  -  the suffering of the land

2. Despite this bloody crackdown there tonight
You feather your nest at the expense of your own people, yes you do
And there´s no sanctuary of a five star hotel lobby for a local boy
When families take on to the street and bullets force them to retreat, oh oh

Chorus: Well, you know sometimes my heart just beats like thunder
Such injustice, that´s hard for me to stand

3. Rhythmic stamping of soldiers´ boots on the road
Paves the way for another blood-shed night, oh yeah
A different point of view and opponents and dissidents
Are rounded up like cattle beaten till silence reigns again- oh oh

Chorus: Well, you know sometimes my heart just beats like thunder
Such injustice, that´s hard for me to stand

But yet we sit at home, watch TV and we wonder
Instead of lending our helping hand
