 To the other side

Well, I sat there on a river bank on a grey and foggy day
As a knight appeared, a ghost out of the mist
My blood ran cold as he raised his voice and this is what he said
His eyes were burning entering the lists

Take me cross the river, you won´t lose by it, for sure
You see the day is tired and the night coming in
No matter what the price may be it just has to happen fast
Understand, they´re waiting there for me

Chorus: Well I, I will try to take you to the other side
As I have done a hundred times before
And I - I don´t tell lies, you know I´ve seen it all before
And no one has returned here anymore

My Lord, I stuttered horrified, please don´t go over there
Even if the worst comes to the worst
There are strange things going on beyond, it´s haunting in the woods
He nodded: "Son, you know that´s why I´m here."

Chorus: Well I, I will try to take you to the other side
As I have done a thousand times before
And I - I don´t tell lies, you know I´ve seen it all before
And no one has returned here anymore

Solo

Chorus: Well I, I will try to take you to the other side
As I have done a million times before
And I - I don´t tell lies, you know I´ve seen it all before
And no one has returned here anymore
